Brief Description of the Book

The book-Atlas of Neurosurgical Anatomy-collected more than 200 color photos from cadaver head, on which the authors have operated and investigated the details of anatomic structures from surgeons standpoint. These nervous structures are involved in more than 15 commonly applied surgical approaches in neurosurgery, especially skull basal surgery. The complicated structures and the correlation of the variety of vascular and nervous structures in scalp, skull, dural and cerebrum have been focused and emphasized in this book. The microanatomic intracerebral structures, cerebral vascules and skull basal structures, which need to careully management during operations were specifically illustrated. Concise texts, clear pictures and illustration, well organisied chapters according to different surgical approches, English and Chinese terminologies characterized the book with practical anatomic knowledge and art state of neurosurgery.
