Clinical experience and operative skills:

    Surgery of craniocerebral trauma: epidural, subdural and intracerebral hemotomas.

 

    Surgery of cerebral tumors: various superio-tentorial tumors, inferio-tentorial tumors, parasellar tumors, CPA tumors and some skull basal tumors.

 

    Surgery of cerebral vascular diseases: superficially located cerebral and cerebellar AVMs, PcomA aneurysms, ICA aneurysms, MA aneurysms, hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage. 

 

    Surgery of spinal cord diseases: Cervical and lumbal laminectomy for decompression of spinal canal, anterior cervical vertebroectomy, surgery of intra- and external medullar tumors.   

 

    Functional and stereotactic surgery: Stereotaxic biopsy, pallidotomy and deep brain stimulation for Parkinsons disease (microelectrode recording), resection of epilepsy lesions under the guidance of cortex and subcortex EEG recording, spinal electrical stimulation for pain. 

 

    Operative skills: Microneurosurgery, Microanatomy and operative approaches, Neuronavigation, clinical and experimental stereotactic surgery, neuro-endoscopy, intraoperative electrical neurophysiological monitoring techniques.
